To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven – Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV

It’s really a beautiful thing that God has brought us safely into a New Year despite all that happened in the past year. He brought us through the storms, recession in the country and many other terrible things that the devil orchestrated. While the devil was making effort, God was just guiding us from all the evils and didn’t allow us to be destroyed.

Now he has brought us into a New Season. God just doesn’t bring us into a new place, new phase or new season for nothing. He has a reason for which he has brought us into this new and wonderful season.

Brethren, the past year may have been a really tough time but the good news is that it is now in the past. It is a new season that God has now brought you into. It would have been a terrible thing if seasons and times had no end. Imagine if we had one straight year that never ended. That would not be encouraging. I think God has broken our times into seasons so that if a phase didn’t do well, we would get another chance to start afresh in the new season.

Regardless of what has happened in the past year, this New Year will be a great and very wonderful year for you. The things that didn’t work last year will work this year. If you didn’t have a job last year, you will get a very beautiful job this year. If you didn’t get very good businesses last year, you will be thrilled by the kind of businesses that God will bring your way this year. If your children were not impressive last year, God will touch their hearts this year and they will become a great honour to you. When you see them, they will make you delighted.

I need to warn that you should not bring the disappointments of last year into this year. Don’t relate with God based on the things that didn’t work out well last year. If you try that, you will be limiting your faith and you will not receive as much as you should from God.

I have an assurance that this year holds some great blessings for you and you will not miss them in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible says in Psalm 68:19, ‘Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation.’ God has benefits for you all through this year and you will not miss them in Jesus name. Beyond your imagination, this year will turn out well for you and your family in Jesus name.

For you to enjoy the New Season that God has brought us into, you need to get closer to God and serve him diligently. Serve him will all your heart and ensure nothing stops you from doing what God instructs you to do. As you obey God, you will not only enter into a new season, it will be a season of rest, abundance and accelerated progress.

I wish you all a Prosperous New Year. May God bless all your endeavours this year in Jesus mighty name. (Amen)
