Do not grow weary │© Fola Daniel Adelesi

Very often in life we look at the things we are trying to do that are not yielding the results we planned for and we are tempted to grow weary especially with continuing the task or project. When we grow weary from within, we will begin to lose interest on the outside and ultimately fail on the thing we have set out to do. It has come to the knowledge of human beings over the years that to succeed on the outside, we must be succeeding on the inside. We cannot fail in our hearts or think that it is over in our hearts and still expect to succeed on the adventures we are involved in.

Life will come with various tests for all of us. Some of us will have our patience tested over and over again and in those times when our patience is being tested, it will look like nothing is working. It will be as though everything has come to a stand still just because of us. Sometimes you can even get the feeling that you live in a different world compared to some of your colleagues because you will see that they are making remarkable progress on some of the things you really want to progress on. You don’t understand why they are progressing and you don’t seem to be progressing.

Have you started a business that is just not picking up while others who started after you just have everything working out for them? You should never grow weary. You will always have something to learn even in those times when it looks like nothing is working. It will be a great time for you to gather some momentum so that when you have to run you will be running with some good energy and in the right direction.

Life is a journey you have already started and you cannot afford to give up on any worthy venture. The only thing that makes life worth living for us is to start and to finish things! Sometimes we may need other people to encourage us but they may not be forthcoming with the needed encouragement. They may even come around and bash us some more! What we should do is to build up encouragement systems for our own lives and ventures so that when the people around just fail to encourage us, the system we have put in place can do the work.

Think about getting back to that business you were doing. Thinking about getting back on that course you have always wanted to study. Think about getting back with your spouse. Forgive when you need to and live your life in a great way. Do not grow weary of your seemingly wayward child. Call that child again and speak with that child with the expectation of change. Don’t give up on that employee that seems to be messing everything up! That same employee can turn around and become your best employee!

You will always have a life to live and one of the great ways to live your life will be to never grow weary on anything you have started. When you grow weary from within, you drain yourself of some vital energy to achieve more and you lose the courage to forge ahead!
