How to meet the future | Fola Daniel Adelesi, ASM

Two young people had a quest for a great future and they began to think about how to make it possible. One day, they walked into a seminar hall and it was Fola Daniel, in my imagination, that was speaking. He spoke so passionately and convincingly about the future and what it hold for the people in the hall. These young men became more interested and sat at the edge of their chairs for the rest of the hour while Fola Daniel held unto the microphone like a new found lover.

Now they have a great understanding of what this issue of future is all about and they were so happy that they could be a part of the great future. Beyond having the interest in the great future Fola Daniel has told them that they have a role to play before they can have a part in the great future because nobody suddenly appears in the future with all the amazing prospects or opportunities that it has to offer.

From that time they began a new search which was narrowed down to what they had to contribute on daily basis so that the future they were looking for would come. They suddenly wish there was a man called Mr. Future whom they could consult and ask questions about what they had to do specifically since they want a great future. While they were thinking about this they both slept off and soon began to snore heavily. About an hour later Mr. Future, as they had desired appeared to them in a dream and began to talk to them about what they could do to be a part of what it has to offer them.

Mr. Future did not give them all the needed details but he told them what they needed to do and how the future for them was going to be guaranteed. Here’s what he told them
– I suddenly appear to people and I would have appeared before they realize that I am the Future they are talking about. When they see me they start talking about me again having forgotten that they spoke about me yesterday and I came today so I usually appear to them because they postponed an appointment with me without preparing to meet me.

– You must have a skill and coat it with passion because a skill without a passion is like the food lacking salt.

– If you want to see me come without you being prepared then all you need to do is to go about your daily job and do it to the best of your ability without grumbling.

– Don’t talk about me with uncertainties. I am Mr. Future and I come in a beautiful way to those who talk about me with some convinctions.

– Paint pictures of what you would like to see by the time I come and sound confident!
– As you talk about me and do what you were supposed to do, you must also seek counsel from time to time.

– What you do on daily basis is what will determine what I bring for you on the day of our appointment.

– The words in your mouth must constantly put a blessing on the works of your hands before I can be moved to bring your desire towards you.

After these words Mr. Future left them to think about what has been said. They woke and jumped out of bed still wondering if it was true. One said he would act on it but the other said it was ridiculous. The one who acted on it had a colourful appointment with Mr. Future but the one who didn’t had a terrible time with Mr. Future.
