When Jesus decides to intervene | © Fola Daniel Adelesi

Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. – Luke 8:22
I understand that many preachers and even Bible Scholars only look at the verse above in relation to what happened to Jesus and the disciples when they were on the sea. It is true the storm came against them while they were on the sea but why do you think the storm came? Jesus had decided to go to the other side. Definitely he had a mission to accomplish there. You need to understand that when troubles come from the devil, they are usually not about what you have at the moment but about that thing the devil wants to stop you from getting. When Jesus said let us cross over to the other side, there was a mad man on the other side waiting earnestly for divine intervention.
In the same Luke 8, from verse 26 the bible says, ‘Then they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee. 27. And when He stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs.’ Look at that! It was immediately he came out of the boat that this man met Jesus! It also means it was this man that God wanted to give divine intervention but the devil wanted to stop his divine intervention by attempting to stop Jesus at the sea. If the devil had been able to stop Jesus, that man would have remained mad, uncladded and lived in the tombs for the rest of his life. But thankfully no one could stop Jesus so the man got his divine intervention and went on to become an evangelist. You recall as well that the devil tried to stop Jesus from saving you and I from our sins. He thought killing Jesus would end his destiny but that was what activated his destiny. Just as no one or nothing could stop Jesus from getting to the mad man, nothing and no one will be able to stop you from receiving your divine intervention.
There are other examples in the Bible where the devil or men tried to stop divine intervention in the lives of people but God moved in and the devil or the people could not do anything about it. We know of Daniel who prayed to God and the Bible says that the angel sent to Daniel was withheld by the prince of Persia. Daniel 10:13 says, ‘but the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. God had to send reinforcement to help the destiny of Daniel. If the reinforcement did not come, Daniel would have waited endlessly and prayed continuously. The good part is that when God has decided to intervene in your affairs, nothing and no one can stop Him from moving you to the next level or causing a turnaround in your life.
From today, Jesus will intervene in your life and nothing will be able to stop you from experiencing a significant turnaround. I pray that all the interventions you have been trusting God for will come speedily in Jesus name.
